Lukumades / greek donut

240 ml full cream milk
Yeast 1 tsp (2-3gr)
225 gr (20 tbsp) medium protein flour
Sugar 1 tbsp
Pinch salt
Vegetable oil / fry 2 tbsp

How to make
– Warm milk, as long as it’s warm, don’t be hot
– sprinkle yeast into milk, mix well
– add flour, sugar, salt
– Stir well using a fork until the dough is combined
– cover the napkin, let stand 45 minutes to 1 hour or until it expands 2x
– Put it in the triangular plastic which has been smeared with oil inside (so that the dough comes out easily)
– Heat the cooking oil
– fry over medium heat, use scissors soaked in oil to cut (see video)
– fry until browned, remove and drain
– Serve with honey / sugar syrup topping

Sugar syrup topping
– sugar 150gr
– 75 ml of water
1-2 tablespoons honey (I don’t use it)
Method: mix all ingredients, cook until boiling or all ingredients dissolve completely
